It's officially spring in the Northern Hemisphere, which makes my conversation with Rebecca Maslen even more timely, as we are discussing the radical, political, and creative side of gardening. Rebecca is a gardening consultant and writer who recently launched her new Substack, Gardening For The End of The World, and I was so delighted when she reached out about coming onto the pod.
We had a grounding & nourishing discussion of the many anti-capitalist parallels to gardening that are available to us, and Rebecca shared her wisdom about why gardening is not only an act of pleasure, but also an opportunity for creating more fulfilling connections with the human and n0n-human worlds which surround us.
